Ruben (Instructor in Training)

Ruben started his Martial Arts training at a young age with Karate. He would take a break from martial arts to focus more on competitive soccer during his late teens, where he was a star goal keeper.

After suffering an injury he discovered our Dojo and his old passion for martial arts training. Five years later and he has never looked back. Ruben has also trained in some of Canberra’s top BJJ and Thai Boxing gyms while living there. Upon his return to Sydney he expressed his interest in coaching and helping the next generation at our school.

A natural and very talented instructor, Ruben brings easy to understand analogies and concepts that make him a beginner’s favourite choice.
